tradition right at the historic center of Tübingen
The historic wine tavern Weinstube Forelle already existed over 200 years ago at the heart of Tübingen’s historic center. It has seen and lived trough a lot of things. In the beginning it was a wine tavern and a pastry shop in one, and over time it developed into an institution that Tübingen couldn’t do without today. It was once used by the royal chef, decorated by the royal painter with mural art, and at one point the printing presses of the publishing house Cotta Verlag were located on its upper floor and busy printing Friedrich Schiller’s “Wallenstein“. Hegel, Hölderlin and Hesse were frequent guests there. Of course, over all these years the leaseholders switched a few times – such as in 2017. That’s when dipool design came into play – and gave the traditional establishment a new coat of paint. From corporate and web design, to the menus – a whole new image was created – with the traditional character of the wine tavern in mind, of course.
